Our Angels are available to put out their hats and play for  donations which Musical Angels will send to  a local children's hospital in O.C.   Contact Ms. Cynthia

Dr. Suzuki believed that music had the power to heal and that it could be used to change the world if we worked for that purpose.

Laura Lisowski, the 16 year old who founded www.musicalangels.org  also believed that music can make a difference in the world by helping seriously ill children with the power of music.  She is currently perusing a premed degree.

Ms. Cynthia noticed that Musical Angels and the Suzuki Method share some fundamental beliefs and that Musical Angels would provide a wonderful collaboration for Students at TEC to share their musical gifts to make the world a better place for children who are in need of special treatment.
Any Violin Student at TEC may volunteer to be a Musical Angel.   The Angels at TEC have already played for local nursing homes and children with special needs.
In Dec. 03 & 04 Angels at TEC played their violins at a Christmas Party for the Families of Children with Epilepsy.   The Epilepsy Foundation of O.C. provide special assistance for children who can not relieve the symptoms of Epilepsy through medication.   This encounter has been a wonderful opportunity for our young music therapist in training to get this experience while they are too young to play for children in the hospital.   We want to thank one of our Suzuki moms, Janna Moore for arranging these musical presentations.   She is the Program Coordinator for the Orange County Branch.

Winter 04' the TEC Musical Angels Performed at a local Food Court in Irvine for the public and raised $60. in donations to be sent to Musical Angels.org to be forwarded to CHOC.   They took turns playing a "Christmas Carol Serenade"  for passers by who joined in the holiday singing and the shaking of jingle bells.

They plan to play fiddle tunes for future events in the Spring when they will also play more of their Suzuki Repertory.

We hope you will drop by.
